I am wondering how much people actually text? I didnt think I would until I got the old 200 text messages amonth plan and killed it in 2 weeks lol

I find that its easier to communicate with buddies at their offices since its more discreet. I have a buddy who spends more time texting than actually on the phone, kind of weird but helpful in a loud bar when you cant hear over the music ;)

so how much do you text vs actually talk?

I love to talk more than text. I always have difficulties in finding the right keys :). I know in some countries sending sms is cheaper than air time, so text is very popular in these countries.

I text not that often. I text about 50messages every 2months lol.

Nowadays, I only use about 100 text messages. A few months ago though when I was a little more sociable, I would easily hit 3-400 per month.

Initially it cost me a fair bit, though once I was on a contract with 500 texts a month I've not spent a penny over £25 per month.

I hardly text at all. I receive some messages but very infrequently. I've had my phone for about 6 or 7 months and I've received 3 message and sent 1. I just feel talking is much more personal and if I'm in a place that I can't talk, that's what my laptop is there for.

I seriously never used my text feature until like 6 months ago. My brother is big into it with his office job since he can't be on the phone. So now when we need to communicate he texts me and since I have gotten used to it, it is so much better when you just want to tell someone something quick and not get stuck on the phone with them forever!

I love to text more than talk. It may sound weird, but I often use more than 10 text messages a day. The previous month I used 400 text messages. Yeah, I know I'm crazy. But sometimes writing things in text is more comfortable than talking on the phone.

I text all the time it is the most convient form of communication with most of the people I know during the day because they are supposed to be working and not on the phone so this way no one ever knows that they are chatting. Works our pretty good for me with the monthly plan that I have it really dosen't cost that much extra.

i usually text more often than talk...especially when i am unlimited cause i can text all similar subscriber of smart as many as i can with no limitations on texting and no worry if i have to pay higher payments on plans,loads,etc.

and one more important thing.. you can text private messages to someone... you can say everything that you want say without any one could hear, and anyone could know who were you talking to...
