fletch, i was all over the fuze when it came to the stores, i spent a whole hour with the store demo trying to justify the 300 dollar price and the 30 dollar a month data plan.. as much as i wanted to fool myself into the fuze, there was something about it that was not selling me into it (speed).
this thing was rendering and panning wicked slow. the tf3d was not responsive, and the keypad is cramped.. i was not impressed. besides having to use a stylus and a magnifying glass to read the high resolution screen.
on my way out of the store with my buzz killed as i walked out, i came aX the sammy eternity.. i played with it for a few minutes and was impressed with its speedy ui, and more than quick internet access, not to mention full touch screen interface with a 3.2 inch screen. still, i thought it was a subpar midrange girly device compared to the htc touch pro.
i came home and read up on it, and all i kept reading were rave reviews about it.
i learned that you can install java apps, take msdhc, and a lot of things a midrage phone can not touch. plus, the price is right.
sure enough a few day later i became the proud owner of the eternity. and there is no looking back.
this phone is not being hyped by at&t for the same reasons of its potential, and threat to the more expensive rivals.
cheap, low cost data, great speedy ui, java apps, full 3.2 inch touch screen, 3 mp cam, i mean i coul keep typing for a few more minuites but i am too stoked to go play with my new phone.
if your company is not paying your phone bill, forget the 30 dollar data plans, and high hardware cost.
i will keep typing about the eternity for the next few months until i sell it for a profit.
