How come cingular has no ruggedized cellphones? I have been trying to find one. I did search a little but i couldn't find anything yet. I have a new project coming up and my working conditions require me to have some neat stuff. I already lost my laptop once. Any info would be nice..

I have been searching for a phone that would uphold to abuse as well. My husband has a job that he often drops his phone and it drives me crazy. I have yet to find anything but I hope that someone may be able to come up with something for you.

I understand the feeling. This new project that i'm involved in deals with lot of climbing and some really tricky locations. I need to be extra careful with my equipment this time. If your husband find anything, let me know.

get the nokia 6030 and a leather case. 2 reasons first it comes with two cases just in case you crack the first one. You can also purchase these cases. Second its not a flip phone. Flip phones will never be durable unless its a brick like nextels. or try the w810i use the bluetooth with it.
