Stranger calling me with my friends number

Hello guys how everyone is doing well! Sadly I have a problem and want to know if someone could help me with it. I've been getting strange calls randomly and the number that it shows up is my friends number. She has a cingular phone and I confronted her with this issue. She told me that someone has been stealing her minutes and all. When I confronted the person on the phone that person said that he hacked the system and stole this number. Right now im really confused and wanted to know if its possible for someone to steal someones number and use that to call someone else. Thanks for the help !

Send a message via Yahoo to labradawg
If they were able to get your friends SIM card then that might explain it but I can't think of any other reason. Did you talk to AT&T about the issue?
