Has anyone been ripped off by those ads that say free ringtones but you have to pay a monthly subscription of either 9.99 or 19.99 and you get unlimited ringtones? It's usually in the fine print. I'll admit I was dumb enough to fall for it and they now charged my cell bill for 9.99 and all I have to do to unsubscribe is text them the word "stop". Well my friend went through the same thing except they kept billing him. Has anyone had this type of experience?:angry:

i almost did it with the banner on the front page of Cing nation. But I caught it before I signed up I use Phone zoo and its free for all !!

You can also make your own media and are given the option to "send it to a friend." I send my friends things all the time.

They also offer some packages-fees are very small...I have not purchased anything from them. I have been a member since 2003.

I tried Phone Zoo-same concept-problem was they, their tech support, could never validate my phone-I tried for a month, it would never validate (their tech support helped/could not fix the issue)-I was with Sprint then-now that I am with AT&T I will try again....

tones of free stuff. it is mainly for S60 units but there are alot of other goodies including wallpapers and ringtones.

The site did not let you post the link....says you have to have a min# of posts....I will check it out if you tell me where it is...I did try PhoneZoo again but again I cannot get validated....so I am assuming it is a personal thing...LOL
