Email to SMS? How To?

I've recently signed up with AT&T. I'm trying to send a text message from an email address.. From what I've read it should be

To view links in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. Your post count is 0 momentarily.

That doesn't seem to work and just gets bounced back.

What am I doing wrong?

same here...cant see the links. hey everybody! was wondering how to send texts from here in us to canada for free....any ideas? i didnt know its a charge until i signed up. i had sprint and i never got charged. plz help. thanks

Can't view until I post once, so here's my first post.

I'm having the same problem. Got SMS working by calling AT&T tech support. During the call, I started receiving text messages.

However, email to MMS address (phonenumber@mms.att.net) comes back with "restricted MMS email" error.
