Treo750 SMS resending old txt's

Hello. My Palm Treo 750 repeatedly resends old txt messages. If I reply to a txt it may send the reply two, three, or four times.Also, I might reply to one friend's txt message and then hear from a different friend that my phone resent a txt message that I originally sent the previous day.Anyone know how I might fix this?Thanks!
