I have this one friend that loves to send text messages. They're okay, but they end up costing me money. Is there a way to block text messages from your phone? They're the only one that ever sends them, so I really don't need the option.
you can change the gateway number that your text come in from. and that will make sure nothing text wise comes to you. but i reccomend going to your cingular store so they can do it for you. also you can block her number from txting you if you call 611 and talk to our customer service reps.

I have prepaid service and motorola l7 phone.I can not send or receive text messages.
When I first got the phone I had no problems.....what's the problem now ????
call 611 or take it into the store. we had alot of problems with peoples individual accounts locking up special features when the switch happened especially prepaid accounts.
