| Browsing the web on a phone... Having gotten thinking about a new phone, can anyone suggest something that may make browsing the internet a little easier.
So far, handests have seemed far too small to display anything but a limited amount of text, so checking the sports scores out was a difficult task. I don't need a particularly large screen, but something that is a little more suited to browsing webpages would be fantastic.
Any suggestions? So far Nokias and Samsungs have driven me crazy trying to do the simplist of tasks. |

| I would suggest either getting a larger screen phone but that creates a problem where it wont fit neatly in your pocket anymore. So its going to be a trade off as to size vs function
I want the new Treo once it comes to Cingular but will have to sacrifice my tiny Razr for it :)

| I also suggest getting a larger screen phone. It really helps when surfing the net using phones. Blackberry is really a good choice. Think about it! |

| Thanks for the suggestions - I'm not too keen on the Blackberry, but I'm going to have a good look at the others.
As I said before, I'm not one of these that lives by their phone, but something a little more web friendly would be ideal since it looks as though my old phone is overdue a replacement.
Thanks guys, keep them coming. |

| Yeah, i dislike browsing on my phone. I have a laptop for that. I woudl reccommend a black berry though it's a bit big. The Treo is also good but as mentioned, you'll be sacrificing size. |

| I can't stand to browse the internet on my phone. It is too small and way too hard to find what I am looking for. I wish they would make it a little easier to navigate the internet. The only thing I have been able to use it for is to check a hockey score and that took me like 15 minutes to figure out.

| I prefer to use phone for what it is meant to be, thats for making and recieving calls. For net browsing, I have laptop. With small screen and higher pricing, I guess, people should use laptops and computers for net solutions. For call purposes, cell phones always there. No need to overspend on something that is not a core of product you use. |

| Yeah I pay $6 a month for the browser feature and I only use to to download ringtones i put up for myself. Real websites are unbelievable to load. I tried to load my website once and I just got half of the navigation buttons :\. Awell, in the future we'll be able to call by thinking, so its just a waiting game ;). |
